Sweet potatoes are among the most nutrient-dense vegetables for dogs, rich in dietary fiber, vitamins A, B6, C, and potassium, making them excellent for immune, digestive, and eye health. They should be cooked (baked, steamed, or boiled) with no seasoning, butter, or sugar. Raw sweet potato is harder to digest. The skin should be removed. Do not feed canned sweet potatoes with added sugar or spices.
